💳 Card Payment Fees

At Y-POS, we’re committed to transparency and fairness when it comes to fees. Here's a clear breakdown of how fees are applied based on payment types and payout preferences.

Standard Card Payments

For most UK-issued debit and credit cards:

Tap to Pay (Contactless via Phone)

  • Basic: 2.2% + £0.28 per transaction

  • Pro: 1.85% + £0.28 per transaction

  • Business: 0.9% + £0.28 per transaction

Payment Link (Remote / Online)

  • All plans: 4.5% + £0.20 per transaction

These fees are applied automatically per successful transaction.

Premium & Foreign Cards

Payments made using non-UK or premium credit cards (e.g. business/corporate, American Express, or international cards):

  • 4.5% + £0.28 per transaction

These cards carry higher network costs, which is why the fee is higher.
