How the Feature Works (Detailed Explanation)
  1. Merchants can create stock orders whenever they receive new goods from a supplier.

  2. Each stock order requires selecting or creating a supplier.

  3. Products can be added to the stock order manually or using the barcode scanner.

  4. For every scanned product, the system instantly recognizes it from the catalog and allows the user to enter the quantity being received.

  5. Once the order is confirmed, all items are added to the inventory and become available for sale.

  6. As customers purchase items, the system automatically updates the remaining stock levels.

Step-by-Step Instructions (for End Users) How to Add Incoming Stock Using the Barcode Scanner
  1. Open the Stock Management section in Y-POS.

  2. Navigate to the Stock Orders tab.

  3. Tap the + button at the bottom of the screen to create a new stock order.

  4. Select a supplier:

    • Choose an existing supplier, or

    • Tap Create Supplier if it’s your first time.

  5. After creating the order, tap the barcode scanner icon.

  6. Start scanning products one by one.

    • Each scanned product will be added to the order instantly.

    • Enter the quantity received for each item.

  7. Once all products are scanned and quantities confirmed, tap Save / Submit Stock Order.

  8. The system will update your inventory, and all items will appear as stocked and ready for sale.
