Payout Schedule & Instant Payout Explanation

After completing your registration, your first payout will be processed 7 days after receiving your first payment. This initial period is required for security and verification purposes.

After this, you can customize your payout schedule in settings, choosing between:

• Daily Payouts
• Weekly Payouts
• Monthly Payouts
  
  

Additionally, we offer an Instant Payout option, but this feature will only become available after 40 completed transactions. Unfortunately, instant payouts cannot be used during the first transaction period.

Instant Payout Limit:

• The daily limit for instant payouts is £100.
• If you require a higher limit, you can request an increase, which will be reviewed based on your account activity and transaction volume.
  
  

These measures are in place to ensure security for both our users and our platform, protecting against fraudulent activities while maintaining a reliable service.

How fees work in Y-POS

💸 1. Instant Payout (1.75% Fee)

• Funds arrive in your bank account within minutes.
• Available 24/7, including weekends.
• Perfect for businesses needing fast cash flow.

Example:

• You process a £100 transaction.
• You receive £98.25 instantly (after 1.75% fee).

⏳ 2. Standard Payout (0.25% + £0.20 Fee)

• Funds are deposited into your bank account in 7 days.
• Lower fees than instant payouts.
• Ideal for businesses with stable cash flow.

Example:

• You process a £100 transaction.
• You receive £99.55 after 7 days (after 0.25% + £0.20 fee).

You can turn Instant Payouts on or off in the app.

Important:
✅ You can change this setting once per calendar month.

After you switch Instant Payouts on or off, the next change will only be available on the next monthly reset date.


When Instant Payouts may be unavailable
Even if Instant Payouts are enabled, Stripe may temporarily block an instant payout for compliance or risk reasons.

If you see the message:

“You cannot make instant payout at this time”

This usually means your account is not currently eligible for instant payouts.

Common reasons include:

• Your account verification is incomplete
  
• Your payout method is not eligible for instant payouts
  
• Your payout currency is not supported for instant payouts
  
• Your account is under review or temporarily restricted
  
• Stripe’s internal limits or security checks were triggered
  
  

In these cases, your funds will still be paid out using the standard payout schedule.

Will my payout be delayed if Instant Payout fails?
No.

If an instant payout is unavailable, your funds are not stuck.

They will be paid out automatically using the standard payout method within the normal schedule.

How to unlock Instant Payouts
Instant payouts are only available for verified accounts.

To unlock instant payouts, make sure:

• Your account verification is completed
  
• Your bank details are correct
  
• Your payout currency matches your local currency
  
• Your account has normal transaction activity
